Traditional Farming is very rare these days. You'll get plenty of people telling you how it should be done - but a lot of this is based on commercial farming practices where the monetary return is well ahead of the concern for the animals themselves. So with little or no help available we decided to do our own thing, and yes, we've made some mistakes but then that's how you learn. Above all we've ensured that all our livestock lead happy and fulfilling lives dictated by nature not by some large corporation. The following books have helped us to achieve this.
Traditional Pig breeds are what ourselves and our farm are all about. This book explains clearly how best to keep them.
